doing as many crunches as you can is pointless....do no more than 20...if you can do more than increase the resistance....or difficulty of an ab exercise....
whey directly after a workout along with simple carbs double the protein....is the best way to get most gains from your workout....
however, increasing muscle is only part of the equation to a 6pack....the rest is you need to shed body fat to make your muscle/abs visible...you do this by eventually cutting calories and or increasing cardio exercising

Hi Jeeves
Everything is about finding the right diet and exercise.
Please do a search and you'll find plenty of information.
Good luck! :)

no no....I mean per set....so for example 2-4 different exercises....3-4 sets per exercise......up to 20 reps per set.....
try....crunches, sit ups, leg raises, bicycle kickers, twists, ....etc..
there are also many ab exercises you can do with a medicine or a physioballs...
you need to do this 1-3 days a week....depending on how well you respond....some people find better results by doign more frequent ab workouts...while others train abs like any other body part once a week....
