Hey, although im not sure what a good ratio of fat lost/muscle loss is, i think mine is too high. This is the first cutting cycle i have ever tried carb cycling, and when i started a month ago i was 200 lbs with 18% bf. now im 194 with 15.8% bf. Doing to math i found that i have lost almost 6 lbs of fat, but that also means ive lost almost 4 lbs. of muscle.
I was wanting to know what i should do help keep my muscle, should i eat more protein or carbs or take BCAA's i realy don't know. By the way the only supplements im on right now are Whey, Flaxseed, and Vitamins.
Or it is possible that i haven't lost that much muscle and some of it is water wait, i don't think so because i drink over a gallon of water daily. I've got 4 weeks left of my cutting cycle so any information is greatly appreciated.

Water is probably a big culprit if you were at 18%. BCAA's would not be a bad option for you. As kakaroto says, you must keep your protein high. On carb cycling, on low carb days increase your protein, veggies, and EFA's.

On my Low carb days i eat on avg 97g carbs(all wheat, oats, and veggies), 250g protein, and 55g fats(no trans, and little sat), on high carb days i eat about 250g carbs, 30g fat, and 175g protein. i try to stay around 1900-2000 cal.
Since this is the first time i carb cycled i really wasn't sure how much to increase my protein and for low carb days, so i guessed. I have to go to vegas over the weekend but feel free to alter my number as you see fit, and ill try it when i get back.
Thanks for the help guys...i  this site.
