there is no "average" for any weight, height or age for benching, squat, deadlift anything. Don't worry about it

If I was you eazy I would do two sets of 50 pounds for ten reps then a set of 70 pounds for five reps then do two sets of 80 pounds for three reps then one last set of 90 pounds for one rep, work out your bench press twice a week, one day is light day and the other Heavy day.the material is out there you have to find what works for you and stick to your guns.

i'd kill the 2 sets of 10.....thats wasted energy.
warm up with bar( 45lbs) one set
jump to 55lbs 3 reps
65lbs 2 reps
75lbs 2 reps
80lbs 1 rep
85lbs 1 rep
then do a weakness movement.....mines triceps....so i'd do partials.....or floore presses......with about 75lbs
then some upper back work, shoulder and tricep work......
look at west side template......thats basicly what i just said.

if hes just starting out, i dont see why he would need to start lifting on a westside template... He could make great gains on a regular powerlifting workout. Anyways, he should build his base before he starts doing dynamic work. theres articles on this on elitefts.com

you'll never be benching enough, you'll always want more.
that being said i would start with
reg grip 2sets of 6
wide 2 6
narrow 2 6
floor press/lockouts a heavy set of three
and other assorted delt and tricep work
but thats just me
