I have a question, for the past three months i have been running and eating good for the the most part to lose some of the weight i have gained over the years. Now i have pretty much lost the weight i wanted, minus the small fat around the ab section. I have started to lift weights within the last 3 weeks ,and my question is how can i loss the last fat around the mid section and put on muscle mass? Thanks!

Hate to break it to you Robert.. that is the hardest to lose and the only way is with a super clean diet and continuing to exercise...

We do need more protein to gain muscle, but to ensure we get enough to maximise growth for our efforts people tend to recommend or eat lots of food which will inevitably add some fat as well.
Basically all natural bulking phases will have fat gain as well as muscle.
Thats why people bulk, cut, bulk, cut.
Eat heaps and bulk up and then have a cutting phase to cut all the fat away that was added during the bulking phase.
