Hi,

Im not sure if this is the correct section to add my thread but here goes.

I am 34 (female) and trying to get my stomach flat again, one day it was as flat as a pancake, the next day i look 4 months pregnant (no im not) just look it LOL.

I am only tiny in frame and have no fat anywhere else, i weigh in at 112lbs, now this is not alot, but im sure 40lbs of that is my stomach. LOL

My question is, iw ant t lose my stomach and get it toned and flat once again, but don't want to lose any weight from anywhere else or i will not be seen.

What is the best thing to do?

Is there any workout video's that will help me?

Thanks in advance and good luck to everyone.

Julie

unfortunally then though inof mercials claim one can get a flate stomache with this contrapction but one CAN'T from anywhere on the body "spot reduce". You can't just do crunches...and magically the fat is "burned" away. Actually, the oppositehappens, if you build muscle under fat.....it will make the fat stick out more.

To get rid of fat one need sa good diet. Very very clean....unless your a naturally lean person.....your gonna have to eat right and excercise.

So my questions are......whats your diet like( honestly)? and what/how are you excercising?

I am guessing part of the problem is perception and day to day water fluctuations....keep in mind you can gain a lot of water weight around your the time of your period.....

As Andrew pointed out you cannot spot reduce certain areas on your body in terms of body fat.....however some people tend to store fat more in certain places than others...if for you it's your midsection then it's very likely that you'll also lose the fat there more so than from the rest of the body....to lose weight....try to cut calories by about 100-200 calories and clean up your diet....no junk foods, no soda, no juices, etc...use common sense...try to eat whole foods...avoid canned foods....eat lots of vegetables, complex and fibrous carbs, lean meats/poultry, and healthy fats....

You can try a diet with 1500 calories total...consisting of the things i mentioned....

also you'll need to do cardio.....run 2-3 days a week...

Hi and thanks,

I eat very healthy foods, i don't and never really have drank or ate anything thats bad for me (fast food happens once every few months) thats why its done my head in getting a porky belly LOL

I eat two weetabix with semi-skimmed milk after ive been on my multi gym in the mornings, then snack time is fruit or a health bar. Lunch is a wholegrain sandwich filled with chicken and salad or something on those lines and my evening meal will be plenty of veg and some form of meat. I only drink filtered water throughout the day and fruit teas (about two cups) and thats my ever so boring meals.
Does all that sound ok?

Thanks lads for your advice Julie

need more protein jewels......eat somthing hot for breakfast.....eggs toast somthing.....whole foods more, less bars and junk like that.

Strive for 20g of protein per snack and 30+ for meals. Sounds weird but more you eat less fat you store.
