How long can the burn last after a workout. Is it normal for it to last two to three days? And if so should I not work those parts until the burn is gone or just keep going and ignore it and do the most I can do?

It is normal to feel sore after a couple of days. In the larger muscle groups like the leg and back muscle groups, the soreness might last a little longer. No need to worry about that. It might even be difficult to walk after leg workouts. It's normal. You got it, you should not work out those bodyparts that are sore again until they are completely recovered. If your goals are to gain mass and you continue to workout those body parts which are still sore after a couple of days, you might actually lose muscle because it is being broken down continually. Whenever you workout, you are breaking down the muscle and over time the muscle heals with protein extra calories and rest. If you continue to workout the muscles, they will not heal properly and you will risk losing muscle. OK I just realized that I repeated myself there.....Goodluck with your goals.
