I am needing to work on my lower back muscles, any ideas on good exercises to help build them better? Thanks

Deadlifts are great for working out lower back. Another good exercise would be hyperextensions. If you go to a gym, they might have a machine which is like the opposite of an ab machine. You strap yourself down to the seat and instead of crunching forward as in ab machines, you move your body backwards. This will really help in strengthening your lower back. Hope this helps.

I would do Back Extensions for three or four sets of 15 reps, good mornings are good, dead lifts, straight leg dead lifts and even squats build lower back strength.
