I'm 6'2, 220 pounds, and I don't think my nurtrition plan is exactly right:

Protein -
220 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable Carbohydrates -
770 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable
Fats -
54 g .. maximum 10% variance is acceptable Total Calories -
4396

I mean, over 4000 calories a day? That's beyond excessive, and double checked my nut. profile and didn't enter any bad info. Any ideas what happened?

p.s. Even if I changed the weight and metabolism, it still gave me a high number.

That sounds right if you are trying to gain mass.... I am 195 and 6'1 and I eat right around 4,800 calories. You just have to make sure you are eating good foods and not bad ones :)

Well, I want to tone up, but also cut the fat. Thanks for informing me that I atleast got a plausible total calorie number.

It sounds like a crazy amount but it isn't, especially if your trying to build muscle. I am 5'10 at about 170 lbs and I try to eat 3500 calories a day. I have been doing this for weeks and still my weight gain has been very minimal.

I'm 6'4 208lbs. and extremely active, my nutritionist told me for me to gain muscle weight I have to eat 5,000 calories a day, and around 60% of those coming from carbohydrates which is like 700 grams plus around 120-170 grams of protein per day and all the other food groups. It is a frigging ton to put in your stomach, but if you're training enough its just gets burned up like fuel in a race car.
