I do my lifting in the morning and my cardio in the afternoon. Would there be any harm if I lifted a few more sets, of the same body parts I did in the morning, after I do the cardio.

I don't think that there'll be any harm in that, you just might be a little bit sore pending on how hard you trained yourself that morning. Stretch thoroughly if you do.

Do not be tempted to do more of the same bodypart. Let it be, the muscle needs all the rest time for recouperation it can get. You will be overtraining the muscle. Just do your cardio and wait till your next weight training session to do more strength training.
