I feel tired before I workout.. I workout after I eat my breakfast consisting of: plate of oatmeal. 40G of whey, two bananas and multivitamin. Is there anything food wise and supplement wise that will give me a boost to go workout. Coffee doesnt even work either.

Thanks in advance

I get this way too sometimes. A good idea is to jump on a bike for 5 minutes at a moderate pace too get the blood flowing.

dude thats a huge preworkout meal.. try to make it smaller, or make a bigger gap between when you eat and you go to the gym. your body is going to be focussing on trying to process all that food, and will have valuable blood diverted from your muscles. for me, i wake up, have a quick pb and j, and am good to go in about 45 mins to an hour.

try what borpillicus said too. warmup is essential to getting you ready to workout.

I take some No-Xplode by BSN. It pumps me up a lot, even when I am tired. After a dose of it, I am ready to do a full excercise and feel energized and ready to do it.

Great tips...I workout an hour and a half after my oatmeal breakfast giving it enough time to digest. The bike warm up really helped during the lifting by giving me more power and less pain after the workout. Thx again guys

I just figured out a pre workout routine that gets me pumped.. Go 1 1/2 medium speed on the bike then next minute hard and 30 seconds slow down then go straight to the weights. That coupled with 50% 1st set lifts has given me much more power per lifts.
