Well,I wouldn't say bad. If this is the only time you have to train, then do it. Work all body parts, 2 per day. Do what you can. This is better than doing nothing. Keep the diet up on your days off. Don't not keep up the good nutrition. This will preserve any lean tissue you build. Good luck.

Of course it would be better for the body if you could it less "in one row"........
BUT as bb1fit says, it's better to do that than not at all!

yea, i agree with that. But i havent been gaining any size for the past month or more. I do eat the appropriate amounts for mass gains, i vary my routines every week or two and the muscle groupings as well, so im trying to see which little wrinkle is keeping me from growing. so if this 3 days on, 4 days off is not the problem, im down to the last thing; my damn genetics :( steroids as an option are popping up, although i have been and have posted against steroids, im aware of the side-effects, but all of a sudden they look good. its probably not likely that i'll take them, i will continue to train, not discouraged yet, hopefully soon i the gains will roll in.

If those 3 days out of the week are training days in the gym, try training a little at home when you have time. Make sure your work intensity is at 100% and work to failure. Don't eat the appropriate amounts for mass gains, go above and beyond because by the sounds of it, you've hit a sticky point. Good luck with the gains. They only get harder from here on end.

As u gain, u need to increase ur calorie consumption. So if u start off at 145lb, and went up to 160lb, and ur still eating the same amounts of cals as when u were 145lb, then u wont see much gains. You have to increase ur food and protein intake enough for the extra 15lb u gained.
About the steroids, i have no problem with people who take them that know what theyre doing, and are aware about all the side-effects, and educated about it. If u dont know what ur doing and are just going to jump into taking them, then i think u should think twice before taking steroids. Do some extra research about it, and find out if its actualy worth it.

yes ageis and shaolin, what you have said is old news to me, but i appreciate the advice. i cant eat anymore than i do right now, for my age, 16. i dont want to stuff myself anymore to the point where i can taste my food an hour after i toss it down my throat. i dont think im at a plateau cause i vary exercises every 2 weeks or so. I'll do more research on steroids and ask the fitness consultant at the gym for some advice, those guys are in university to be athletic physicians, hopefully they will have some good pointers
