Meals eat 5 of them a day atleast. I'm not entirely sure of what you are asking so if I stray off a little bit I am sorry. I wouldn't eat right before you work out, when your body metabolizes food you naturally get tired (that's why you see so many kids sleeping in classes right after lunch break). However, eat directly after working out. I'm sure you already know this but incase you don't, when you work out you tear your muscle, when you eat protein you replace your muscle. Your muscles want the protein the most right after you work out, and they will metabolize and absorb the majority of it if you eat with in 30 minutes after working out. As far as good foods to eat in order to get high protein right after a work out: Tuna fish (1 packet has like 32 grams of protein), or you can always pre-order a steak at a restaurant so it'll be ready right when you get there. I use the tuna fish right after I work out though, don't get the cans though, they taste terrible. Hope I answered your questions as accurately as I could. Take care.
