Arent the exercises supposed to stay the same for the 8 weeks just we increase the weight week to week or should we be changing te exercises every week. What I have done is put in exercises each week that work the parts I need to work and I'm sticking with them until the 8 weeks are over. Is this wrong ?
I've actually been researching on the site and found that your body get used to a particular exercise if it's used too many weeks in a row and your muscles will regress. I was wondering that once you change to the new exercise do you start at the next higher weight from the last exercise for that bodypart?
u r right andy.. ur body gets use to the routine and the way u work it out.. so u have to change ur workout style to make it get into new growth.. i wudn't say u have to change it every week.. rather every 4 weeks would be fine.. u can change intensity.. weights whatever.. just don't use the same thing again and again...
as far as weights are concerned.. u need to start ur exercise with a 30-40% of 1rm for warmup.. then jump to like 50-60% and then gradually keep on increasing it.. no two exercises share the same weight cuz every exercise hits the muscles differently...
hope i helped..
