Changing Your Routine?? LOST

I have been doing the same routine for a while now, I work my upper body 3 times a week, and biceps/arms 3 times a week. I do about 6 lifts each day I work out. I've been doing the same 6 lifts for about 3 months. Im hearing now I should change my routine. What should I be doing now?? What does it mean to change your routine? I already do like every lift thats for my chest, and just about everyting for bicep.

what about legs?

changing routine can mean any number of things.. changing exercises, sets, reps, order, setup.. you have to be more specific. in terms of specializing, you can break up your upper body workouts. maybe back/bis, chest/tris, shoulders/abs.. whatever combo you want.. but you have to factor in leg workouts if you want to be serious. working legs releases a ton of testosterone, and is going to be key to increasing even upper body gains.

sounds like to me...you have been doign 2 body parts for 3 months....chest and biceps....which is a very incomplete workout....

you should be working....

quads, hamstrings, calves, adductors, abductors, back(lower bacl, lats, traps, ), biceps, triceps, shoulders,chest,abs, obliques....

As a beginner you should train all these body part with at least 1 set with 6-8 reps for max muscle gains....and do it once or twice a week....

doing chest or biceps 3 times a week is overtraining and a waste of time....
