O.K., I finally got my photo up which shows how I appear after my 8 week weight loss and toning program. My question is, in general do I still look overweight? My wife swears up and down that the results are quite impressive but I still see a fat person every time I look in the mirror. I would appreciate honest responses from others regarding whether my physique appears nromal or overweight.
I have tried emailing a few people privately regarding this issue without much luck so I figured I would see if I could get some input by openly asking for help. I must now choose whether to do another cycle of weight loss and toning or go with a lean muscle gain program and can't decide which one to choose!
Thanks in advance

You certainly don't look overweight to me. I would normally say that that is irrelevant, and the important thing is what YOU think, but if you've become so focused on weight loss that you've lost perspective, you maybe need to listen to those around you, like your wife.
I vote for the mass gaining cycle myself! :)

Princesslodgey,
Thanks for your input and suggestion!
I have had several people say I have "lost my mind" and am "out of touch with what I really look like". Unfortunately most of these people are overweight themselves so I don't particularly put alot of stock into what they say. This is the very reason I am asking for opinions here since many people have been living the healthy lifestyle for some time and thus I feel they have a better understanding of what "normal" is.

Definitly go with the gain lean muscle mass program. Keep your diet clean and with enough calories. You certainly don't look fat.

Also sign up for the abs program and use weight. You can do crunches of all types with a weight on your chest, clamp a dumbell between your feet for leg lifts. If you have access to a cable machine, cable crunches are da bom. Be sure to do twisting crunches to hit your obliques. Nice job tortman.

Thanks everyone!
I am going to go with the lean muscle gains program.
I have been doing the 12 week ab program but haven't used any weight. I believe I will start it over and begin using weight resistance as Charlie suggested (which should be interesting because it was pretty tough to begin with LOL!).
Hopefully the next update photo will show some improvement!

Thanks again guys and gals.
It is nice to be reassured that one is on the right path.
Even though I didn't get quite the results I was hoping for (at least in my eyes), the past 8 weeks have given me all the encouragement I needed to make this a true lifestyle change.
