I have noticed that when I come back from rest days I have the weakest workout of the week. My rest days are Tuesday and Friday and I have tried everyting to get up for it but I can't. I have heard if you do cardio it reduces your musclemass or else I would do cardio on my rest days. Can anyone help
Thank you in advance

Experiment....take the days after lets say leg and back workouts...the days where you probably are most taxed....for example taking day off after arms day might be less beneficial...etc....add more volume or intensity to your workouts...so that you'll need the recovery time...

Thx Menace3000. I go as hard as I can during my workouts and have a wide range of exercises I do but maybe it's something I just need to get used to.

Your either weak from not getting enough rest....or its a mental thing......Focase your mind on the next workout or whatever. I can take a week, to almost 2 weeks off.....and come back with a new "fire" and be just as strong, if not stronger after a rest break.
MInd is a weird thing, if your under the impression or tell yourself, "man this next workout is gonna suck," then thats what your body will perfrom like. This is often called the "mind muscle connection"
But I think this is more of a mind set, than a training day gone bad.
