Hi everyone. I just found this site and after reading through many of the posts it sounds like there are many encouraging and supportive members here, which makes me really happy. I am trying to figure out a good fitness plan for my situation, so any ideas would be highly appreciated. Here is some of my information that might be relavent:
I'm a 30 year old male who is 6'3" and 252 ibs. I really want to get down to 220 ibs but the problem I'm running into is that I have 2 children under 3 years old and I work a rotating swing shift at my job. The good news is that I have a tradmill and some good weights set up in my basement in my own weight room. I'm really motivated to lose this weight and get in shape but I don't want to start working out half cocked without knowing what the heck i'm doing as far as whether it's right or wrong. Can anyone suggest a workout routine to me? Thanks for the help.
