argh im so depressed. Ok this is my problem: im 14 years old and want muscle gain, but for that you need plenty of protein (apparently, from another post i just read, my weight needs about 115g protein a day!!) and i need 2 eat 5-6 meals a day. This is reeeally hard for me as i go to school which takes up most of my day, and i can only eat once at school...which means the max amount of meals i can have a day is 4 - breakfast, lunch at school, a small meal when i get home and dinner. Plus, i have no idea where to get all that protein!! i cant have meat every day, as my mum wants me 2 have vegetarian food on some days of the week for dinner, and when i get home from school it would be pretty time consuming to make myself a meal with meat. As for breakfast i have eggs, but altogether this isnt enough!
I cant take protein powder/bars as they're hard to get in the UK, pretty expensive too, and i'm not sure i should be taking them at my age.
Please help me...is 4 or so meals a day enough?! and what can i eat more every day which is high in protein as a replacement of meat, when i cant have it?
thanks
p.s i heard your body can only absorb a certain amount of protein per sitting...is this why people have more meals a day or what? And when you do have too much protein in one sitting what does ure body do with the rest? i hear it stores it as carbohydrate and fat...

the idea behind more meals a day is to keep your metabolism running so you contunually burn fat, and dont slip into muscle breakdown.
try eating some cottage cheese.. great source of protein. milk, egg whites (its alot easier to eat a ton of egg whites that regular eggs, much healthier too) and of course your meats ( turkey, chicken, tuna, beef, pork, etc.) tuna is a very good meat, already made, just gotta slap it between some bread or whatever, and you have 35 grams protein a can! or else have some cold cuts on hand..
