Did you hear about that baseball player who just died, the pitcher for the Orioles. Reportedly he was taking Xenadrine. Doctor who did the autopsy thinks thats the reason (at least one of them) why he died. Very sad, he was only 23 too. O and my friends took hydroxycut whihc does the same thing basically. He said he felt a large increase in heart rate and it scared him. I personally wouldnt take it, but its your call. |

Hi BD....I did take Xenadrine for about two or three cycles during a year process. I started with one tablet to see how it would effect me. After about two weeks of doing that I went ahead and did the recommended dosage. 2 tablets in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. I took the first two in the morning with breakfast and then went to the gym. I had a great workout intense w/ no complications. I took the other two at 3 in the afternoon. That was the first time I had ever used anything like that. All I can say is I did lose weight. I ate better, worked out, and used that product. Along with the other things I was doing it helped the workout and curbing appetite. I no longer take that product because of a health issue I wasnt aware of...but in no way did the Xendarine contribute to that. Now with the PR I am not able to use it anymore. If I didnt have my health issue I think I would do another cycle of it. Xenadrine does make you feel like you could do five hrs of cardio and lifting. :) Either I was blessed during this process of my weight loss or I was lucky...but it did contribute to me losing 50lbs. IM NOT CONDONING NOR DISPUTING THIS PRODUCT. This message is to let you know I did have success with it. Ive heard its much like the Hydrocut product.

In all fairness.... the main problem w/ these thermogenics, in most cases, is not the product itself, but the people who take them.I would say 1 out of every 8 people that I train take thermagenics properly. The 7 who don't, are putting themself at risk by abusing these drugs. |

One thing our media sources do not tell you about the Orioles pitcher is that he has had problems like this for years. He was treated twice for heat strokes, once in the 10th grade one in the 12th. Both involving heat and baseball. Only once involving ephedrine. Most of the people I know who take it believe that if it recommends taking 4 tablets then taking 8 tablets is better. That is the problem. |

My thoughts exactly jimtors. They always have ta blame it on somthing and it seems these days the #1 and easy culprit is ephedrine |

Well, anytime u are putting a chemical in your body it cant be good, I dont care what it is. If man made it, its probably gonna do more harm than good. |

Seems like your straying off the subject, How does the Ephedrine-free Xenadrine work? |
2003/02/28, 08:55 AM
The Ephedrine free Xenadrine doesnt work. I used it for a cycle with nothing happening. Id say its a waste of money at least on the cycle I did. It was the ephedrine I am having to stay away from...so I thought okay I'll work with the E-free. Didnt work for me AT ALL :)zackp: I agree the subject was how these products worked for those who have tried them.

Unfortunately, this sport of bodybuilding/weight loss, etc. is probably has the most abusers fo supplements there is. I think the prevelant feeling is if some is good, then more is better. In this all out drive to look like a cover model due in large part to the mass media, good substances are readily abused. Read the labels people, if you have any of the problems listed on the label, don't do it! Your health is first and foremost what you should be striving to improve. The good look of a nice body is an end result. Do not sacrifice your health for something you most likely cannot attain anyway. And don't rely on the salesperson at GNC, they are just sales clerks making close to minimum wage! They could just as well work at Radio Shack! Please be careful with things. Now, as far as the Xenadrine EFX, I believe it works best if you are already fairly lean and want to lean out further for a show or something. But if you are heavy and looking for the same results as the others, I don't think so. YOu may want to look into the 7-keto's now. These are excellent supplements based in years of research. Musclean is the newest I know of, and an excellent product made by an excellent company that I know uses only top ingredients. You can get it at www.vitaglo for the lowest price. (I don't own any stock in the company, LOL..just trying to help out!)-------------- Failing to plan is like planning to fail! |

new at the news ... March 1) - Every bottle of ephedra will soon bear stern warnings that the popular herb can cause heart attacks or strokes, even kill, the Bush administration says. The Food and Drug Administration announced the warning labels Friday as part of a series of steps aimed at building the case for more restrictions on the controversial dietary supplement. The FDA also on Friday warned 24 companies that target ephedra to athletes and bodybuilders to stop that marketing within 15 days. Ephedra has been linked to life-threatening side effects even when used by outwardly healthy people at recommended doses - because it speeds heart rate and constricts blood vessels. |
