I have just signed on here and hope somebody can help me. After a long time of no exercise at all, I got back into my workout schedule, finally. I consider myself experienced when it comes to knowledge. However, I have worked out about 5x per week for the last 4 weeks, done my 45 min. cardio (5x) and weight training (2-3x p.w.), cut back my calories/fat intake and changed my eating habits to a healthier way. Well, I have not lost a single pound. All I can feel is that I got my muscles back, which goes quick but no results in weight/fat loss. No better fit of my clothes - and my goal was 10 weeks -10 kilos (approx. 22 lbs.)
In addition to that I just found out that I have a knee injury, meaning, I can't do my (loved) leg exercises such as squats, leg press etc. Anybody out there who has any suggestions - I don't want to lose my motivaton again. And, I need to lose weight. I know, it worked before (lost 17 lbs and 3 clothes sizes), so why doesn't it work now ????? Help ??????

Thanks for your input. Well, after 4 weeks of almost daily training there should have come off several pounds. But nothing really happens and it is difficult to keep the motivation going. Again, thanks, seems you are the only one who cares about answering to people's questions and problems here.

Quoting from ravenwolf:

If you are eating clean and not cheating it will come. Right now you are putting on lean muscle that weighs more then fat. Give it some more time and you will see the changes. About the knee.....sorry. Can't help with that one.
Best of luck

hey munich. Please post your regular eating patterns: how many meals a day, what times you eat at, and the general type of food that you eat at these times. It may help us help you lose weight.

There you said it Munich, from your hard work, your muscles are showing stregnth and growth, this will turn around and help you burn the fatty tissue. Keep up the good work and eat clean.

What is your macronutrient breakdown? Remember fat is not bad for you and is especially important in the production of testosterone. I've you've cut too much fat out of your diet, you won't optimize your gains.
