I have heard that caffiene is counterproductive to creatine. Here is where my question inlies.

I was checking out one of my supplements. It contains a 2CM (DiCreatine Malate).
It also contains Methylxanthines, which is a form of caffiene. If it is counterproductive, why have a mix of the two in the same supplement? This is a supplement from a reliable source which spends millions on research every year. (Or so they claim, but they are a large company so I believe it.)
So what do you think?

in my personal opinion, there is still much debate over the creatine/caffeine issue.. perhaps the dosage of caffeine is small enough to not exert much of an effect on creatine absorption
