i read up on the stuff and in some studies i read that creatine is a carcinogen (causes cancer). ive been lifting naturally for about 4 years, i have alot of mass and size but i want more. can anyone help me out here?

How could creatine be a carcinogen? It is a naturally occuring compound in many foods. Creatine is merely a compound of several amino acids, I don't see how it could be carcinogenic. Where did you hear this?

i agree with you mackfactor .. creatine been around for a long time ,.. i honesly never heard anythign of that effect .

Probably some anit-creatine freak speading bad info about a product they've never tried themselves. Creatine is produced naturally in your own body. That would be a terrible evolutionary flaw that could lead to the end of our species if creatine was in fact a carcinogen. What a bunch of BS.....

To be more specifac it is produced in our liver.

I read somewhere that this came from the fact that burned meat causes cancer and someone, for some reason, connected that to the creatine found in meat.

News flash: Even the sun causes cancer! ooooo ahhh...Lets avoid the sun, eh?
Anyway, i have been using creatine for a while and its great... i agree with what everyone said, it being produced in your body and thus can not cause cancer. enough said.
