My back is progressing however much slower then the rest of my body. This is my routine at the moment:
-Dead Lift
-Power Clean
-Barbell Rows
-Seated Rows
-Lat. Pull Downs
-Shrugs *All in which I do 5 sets*
This routine hasn't been working very well, I'm not entirely sure why but I know that the rest of my body is progressing much faster then my back. Just wondering if you guys/girls have any ideas of routines or are doing a routine that works well for you. Thanks for all help.

stick to 3 main exercises of 1 per....
-lower back
-some form of row movement
-some form of pull up/chin up/pulldown
So to build muscle effectively for example try
-Deadlifts(12*,8,6,4), you cna try to superset with glute/ham machine/hyperextensions with each working set for 6-12 reps..
you can also do shrugs at the top of the deadlifts...thus combining the 2 movements...
-Cable Rows/barbell rows/t-rows(12*,8,6,4)
-Cable Pulldowns(12*,8,6,4)
First start slow with 9 main working sets...for back...
Every 2-3 weeks do power cleans instead of deadlifts....

do you have a narrow back or a broad back, have you tried working your back every day to awaken the sleeping muscle, try it for a few weeks and see what happens, have you tried doing shrugs behind your back this works the trapezius muscle more try it some time, good luck, never give up.

I would advise against working the muscle every day....it can lead to injury and overtraining....you're tearing up muscle without giving it time to recover....by doing this he'll actually become weaker....unless he has ronnie coleman's pharmacist....
