Hi everyone. I need some opinions fast. I need to get my forearm(s) as big as I possibly can in 1 month. What would be a good way to go about it? Wrist curls? Help!

1 month? you won't see much of anything in 1 month...but good luck trying..
heavy deadlifts, time holds, heavy shrugs, grippers, wrist curls, reverse wrist curls, concetration curls, ...

Why do you want big forearms and why so fast?

I agree that you wont see much at all with in a month, but you can try. Reverse Curls, Wrist Curls, Rope Twists, etc. I don't think you'll see too much of a difference in 4 weeks though.

I'm in the military and have a promotion riding on my next weigh-in, which is in a month. I just found out that the bigger my forearms, the easier it will be to pass my measurement test. So I'm willing to try anything. Thanks for the replies so far!

I was in the military- and can tell you it does not matter how big your forearms are unless you are overweight and want to manipulate it into appearing just more musclular than you really are.....

Work out your forearms by all means, they'll get bigger if you work them out then if you don't (obviously). Maybe increase your calories in a day but 500. They'll get bigger, but as far as getting them "as big as possible" as you said, you can't do that in 1 month.

If you are over your table weight for the military, they do a tape test. For males, it is true that the size of your forearm will make no difference in your body fat percentage. For females, they measure your hips, wrist, forearm, and neck. The measurements are figured into a formula that discerns your body fat percentage. The ideal hip measurement should be proportionatly smaller, and everything else should be proportionatly bigger to get the lowest body fat percentage. If you have two females that are the same age, height, and weight, the female with the small hips and big wrists, forearms and neck will have a much lower body fat percentage that the female that has bigger hips and small wrists, forearms, and neck. This goes against the way most women are built. The required table weight for females is not friendly to women are not built like men. At 5'11'', I am techincally supposed to weigh 163 pounds. I can tell you that I cannot weigh that little with the body shape I have. That being said, the only manipulating I am trying to do is to make my arms a bit bigger proportionatly to my hips, so my body fat percentage more closely resembles where I actually am.
Thanks everyone for listening to me!

so why not lose weight instead? you can lose 10-15 lb a lot easier than increasing your forearm size....you're conencetrating your energy in the wrong area....

I have also been doing at least an hour and a half of cardio, 5-6 times a week, plus toning exercises to slim my hips. I'm just hoping that somehow I can gain anything in my arms as well. Sorry for not saying everything in one post! I appreciate everything!

instead of doing 'toning exercises'
do big compound exercises:
squats
deadlifts
pull ups
rows
incline bench press or dips
do these for 3-4 sets of 10 reps...before you do any cardio

Are you a female? If so, it would be even harder for you to increase the size of your forearms in such little time because females don't have enough testosterone to build muscle like men do.
I agree that you should be doing big coupound exercises before the cardio. Cardio should not go first.

why should cardio go last?
More importantly, how often can you train your forearms? I got someone telling me that "Since you use your forearms tons in everyday life, they cant repair quickly. only do forearms once a week"
this true??
