I recently turned 18, Ive been going on a diet recently to lose atleast 25-30 pounds..Im 6'0 235 pounds, I dont eat much at all I wake up in the morning and walk a a mile EVERY morning..this is what i eat everyday
Wake up Eat a cucumber
2 hours later I eat 3 pieces of chicken tenders (110) calories and (5) fat calories
3 hours after that I eat 2 pieces of chicken tenders (80 calories) (3) fat calorie
then through out the day as snacks I eat cucumbers maybe 2-3..
I know this is really bad but I feel bad when I eat ANYTHING more then that because I feel that im not gonna lose anything, if someone can give me a good diet plan I can follow and that is guranteed to lose weight I will follow it, I am willing to follow the plan for 7 months. I appreciate the help, thank you.

200-300 calories is not near enough.. If you eat that little your body goes in to a sort of starvation mode and it stores all the food that you eat. So if you do that you really don't lose any weight anyways. Go to the nutritional plan on this site and find out how much you should eat. For losing weight the main things are eating healthy low fat foods, drinking a lot of water, and doing a lot of cardio. If you do that for 7 months I gaurantee that you will lose a lot of weight. Do 30 minutes of cardio 4-5 days a week. Do weight lifting 4 days a week on the cardio days, but space the two out about 8 hours. You will lose weight this way.

I aggree with you, but I dont know what to eat that isnt either LOW in carbs, LOW in fat or LOW in calories, all Ican find is cucumbers and chicken tenders. And look at the calories this site told me to eat daily
Total Calories -3652
If i eat that much how am I gonna lose weight? I lose maybe 500 calories daily, 70Fat calories, how can I lose weight if I eat that many calories daily and lose 1/4 of the calories

eat about 2500 calories a day from healthy sources...and continue to walk mile everyday.....as well as weight lift...adn you will lose that weight without having to kill urself.....
problem with ur diet beyond the obvious is that it's not sustainable....yes u'll lose lots of fat as well as muscle....and lose the weight...but then u'll revert back to unhealthy eating habits and gain it all back...and if you're like most other people you'll probably gain some extra as well....the yo-yo dieting...
if you cut 500 calories daily....from the 2800-3000 calories you consume dialy....you'lll start to lose weight at about 1lb a week....which is 36lb in a year....fitness is a lifelong commitment...nothing happens overnight...

Actor (fill out your profile!),
Okay, if you want to lose weight and you're 6' tall and currently weigh 235 pounds the first thing you need to do is stop MAKING your body store more fat. You're not eating nearly enough food and your body is definitely not getting enough fuel.
You don't want LOW carb everything. And you don't want LOW calorie everything. That's a recipe for disaster.
You want all dietary requirements (including fat) in moderation.
First and foremost - teach yourself to start eating a healthy breakfast. Eat a pre-walk snack first, then walk, then eat a full breakfast. Egg whites, whole wheat toast, fat free yogurt, etc. (Check out the "Grocery List for Bodybuilders" in this forum for GOOD food options.)
If you want help you'll have to be willing to trust the advise you're offered and be willing to try something new rather than automatically balk at the suggestions.
There are a lot of truly AMAZING people on this site who will be able to help you. But no amount of advise is going to help you if you're not willing to take it to heart and really try.
FYI - most processed "chicken tenders" are pre-fried. I'm wondering if that isn't 5 grams of fat, not 5 calories from fat...
You can do it, but you've got to do it porperly so that you don't put your health at risk.
Erika.

Actor...trust me...what Menace and Art are saying is true. I went from a No breakfast, barely eating lunch, then eating dinner only diet (where I was gaining weight) to a 6 mini-meal diet and taking in almost 3 or 4 times the calories I was before. After 2.5 months I've dropped 13 lbs and looking and feeling better then I have in 8 years.
Listen to em and take their advise to heart. If you don't like it then keep doing what you're doing and you'll keep getting the same results. Can't kill ya to try it out for 2 months can it? Your choice...good luck!
