I don't know it there is a such thing but is there stages of abs? for e.g.
1: muscles tense
2: crest like shape starts to form
and so on.
If there is would some post the stages if possible

No I don't think there are any type of stages. I mean I guess you could make some up if you wanted but nothing is set in stone. You abs are there, they always have been they always will be. The main thing is losing the fat that is hiding your abs. Do lots of cardio, eat low fat food, and do high rep ab exercises. It does take a while to get a six pack though, it is not a 6-8week deal.

many people build a string ab foundation, but are discouraged by the fat overtop and their inability to see it. as dvel said, cardio and a sound diet are the only way to SEE the abs, as well as a good training regimen.

You'll notice your upper abs first, mostly because there is less fat there.
