Hi all! I am new to FT; just learnt about this place late last night. I am trying to take it all in as quickly as possible. Some stuff I knew already, lots I didn't.
I used to be in great shape but let myself go. :( Now, I am ready to get into great shape again. To confess, I have been a glutton and added to my size greatly. Most would use the excuse of having children - which definately started me on my weight adventure - but I alone chose to pig out during pregnancies and after :( Anyhow, the time has come for me to suck it up and get over my poor eating habits and get back that body I had 4 babies ago...I need to get in shape before I have another. ;-)
I am approx 142lbs, 5'2". I would like to get down to 120 and see how I feel then. I am thinking I would look great with some nice muscle definition - I don't just want to be a skinny girl .
I started doing cardio stuff a couple weeks ago and just started weights this past week. My youngest will be 4mths in a couple days and nurses a ton. I have 2 other living children who keep me busy - a 5yob, and a 2yog. My dh is very active and an awesome soccer player. I would love to keep up to him.
I can't wait to get going with my new plan. :dumbbell::angry::love::big_smile:

good luck on your venture. 142 at 5'2" after 4 kids isn't that bad to recover from. You should be there in a few months with the right diet and exercise. Especially nursing. Just make sure you snack 6 times a day on good stuff, and you should be set. Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for the welcome! I went away for a couple days so sorry I didnt reply sooner.
I appreciate the encouragement gangstershoes - I have to say I enjoy lifting the weights but I really struggle with the eating part...if it weren't for that, I would easily have been about 130 or even in my 120's by now. At least I have begun...
How old is your baby shelby? Good for you to be here and working hard to be fit! I know we can do it.
Talk to you all later!
