Shoulder bone spur

An MRI shows that I have a bone spur on my shoulder. I am having arthoscopic surgery on it and I am wondering if anybody out there has has similar surgury done. I don't have a tear, just the spur inflaming the tendons (rotator cuff) that has given me a lot of pain and keeps me awake at night. If anybody has had similar conditions can you tell me how the surgery and recover went? How long did recuperation take? Thanks for any info!
