Hey,
My name is Adrianne and I am 18. Unfortunately, I am over weight. I ballooned up very rapidly in the past year. I started at 145 (at the time, I was still overweight!) and, let's just say, I weigh alot more than that now. I am addicted to food, which is not unusual, or so I have found. I realized today, when I was looking in my mirror, that I NEED to lose weight. So, I am here to find a support system. I hope this works out for me, and for the rest of you too.

Hi Adrianne,
What is great about this site is that most of us have been in your shoes and can help and guide you. There are alot of really fantastic people here who can answer any questions you might have.
Be sure to use the search at the bottom of each page, I have found that is a wonderful way to get most of my questions answered.
Just keep at it and don't be in a hurry to lose the weight. Normally a 1 - 2lb weight lose per wk is best. You may find at first you lose more than that, that is normal.
If you haven't done so already sign up for the free exercise and nutritional program, they are great.
