I am willing to start boxing as a good cardio wrk out. What other muscle gains can you obtain by boxing? And by the way....if I do 3 days a week cardio (30mins each) How long wld it take me to get leaN.

boxing is indeed a good boxing workout...whether actual boxing, running, or jump roping....
the results depend on a combination of cardio(boxing), weight lifting, and nutrition.....
you won't get much if any muscle gains from boxing alone....
how fast you get 'lean' will depend on your current weight and body fat %....as well as the aformentioned other variables...

If you just started out boxing, then hitting the heavy bag will help your punching power more than anything, and learning how to follow through.
