I was wondering if someone can help me. I have been training all my adult life and have always had a problem losing that last 10-15lbs.of fat to look really good. I know it has to do with my diet. When I workout hard (50 min. weights, 45min. cardio, & 20min. stretching.)I have this overpowering hunger at night(8-10pm.)I still manage to stay within my calorie range, but I probable eat a good 900 calorie meal and then i'm in bed an hour later. can some one please help me with what I can do to reduce my night time cravings. i'm also concerned I my be overtraining. I do the above workout 4 times a week. Each body part 2 times a week.

i really only train each bodypart once a week so each muscle gets adequate rest, this is important for especially the big muscles such as the chest. are you dividing your caloric intake into 6 meals? how much water are you drinking? worse comes to worse eat a small meal at 8 and make sure your 10 p.m. meal is all protein ie chicken breast etc. in that case it will just help feed the muscles overnight.

You need to eat several times a day and enough or you'll get those cravings.
Working out for two hours 4 times a week is okey if you get the needed nutrition and rest in between.
Do you get enough vitamines?
Please fill in your profile so we'll know more about you....

Actually our bodies are doing quite alot of things when we are asleep.Oour bodies burn more calories while sleeping than it burns while we are watching TV. If you have a protein meal b4 bed, your body will burn even more calories, as protien while being digested, takes more calories to digest it. I usually have some low fat cottage cheese, or a double protein shake.
