hiya i just got a quick question about protein drinks.. Ive been takin them for a few weeks now and i was wondering if it would do anything if i took protein drinks before my workouts... I know to take them after as i always do but I've also been told to take them before a workout. I see everyone here say take protein drinks after a workout yadda yadda and i was just wondering if it would do anything if i took them before a workout as well? Thanks for reading:)

after.. protein is not a significant source of energy to the body.. you would be better taking in some type of complex carb before you workout (whole wheat toast, br. rice, yams, oatmeal, etc.) that will give you a slow burning energy source

I think a blend of micellar/whey/egg would be a good idea pre workout.. will supply amino acids and help prevent breakdown. Lots of research seems to back this up, then pure whey post workout of course.
