Is weight gaining powder going to make much of a difference, or is plain protein powder going to do just as good of a job. I am trying to gain mass.

i would say save your money, and just start eating more. calculate your daily nutritional requirements, and divide it up over 6-10 meals a day

With my schedule I am willing to spend a little more money for the conveinience of a quick meal. Im just wondering if theres any difference in a weight gainer and a regular protein powder when it comes to gaining weight.

Make your own gainer using your protein powder....mix the protein, oatmeal, peanut butter, banana, and some heavy cream. Sip this throughout the day or have a couple.
With many conventional weight gainers you buy in the store, they are filled with sugars and other fillers to add empty calories. with your own, it is quality, you know the ingredients, and it will do the trick.

If you are worried about the sat fat in heavy whipping cream, you can use flax oil.

I gave that recipe a try and it was great. I will just stick with that instead of buying a weight gainer. Thanks
