I eat bran flakes for breakfast at around 7am, then i dont eat lunch until 1pm. I have cheerios, or a sandwich, sometimes chips (as in fries. However, no matter what i eat, around 2 o'clock i just slump; i feel tired and groggy, and have no metal or physical energy. I drink a lot - at least 1.5 litres a day and sleep from 10.30 am to 6.15.

any advice would be much appreciated! Feel free to email!

i would throw in a snack midmorning, perhaps a piece of fruit or a granola bar.. and make sure your lunch has complex carbs in it (ie whole wheat bread).. the complex carbs will be broken down over a longer period, and give you sustained energy. cut out the fries for lunch, they are loaded with fat and empty calories.. personally, i find if i eat a high fatty meal i get very tired and feel drained.

You should be having a snack/meal around 9:30 or 10am. Also, you need more protein with your breakfast.

At lunch have some complex carbs like brown rice and veggies with some lean protein like chicken breast or fish.

These changes should give you more sustained energy.

mmm...thankyou. Good advice! I've now got a bunch of bananas in my desk drawer, and it is helping somewhat. Nothing like a nana when you're stressed!
