Okay here is what is recommended by Freaky Big Naturally for daily supps, my question is - will these all be effective for a female?

1. 19-20g glutamine daily (already do that, know it is effective)

2. 3g nitric oxide before you work out

3.10g creatine daily, 5 before w/o, 5 pwo (i already know this works)

4.Enzymes with every meal

5. igh quality Protein powder daily (I know this works)

6. High-quality pro-biotic with every meal

7. Colloidal minerals twice a day

8. Tribulus Terrestris cycle, 10 days on, 10 days off. gradually increasing amount during ten days.

9.ZMA before bed (already doing this)

10. Strong multi-vitamin twice a day (already doing this)

I guess my question is mainly - will Tribulus do any good/harm for a female bb? And what about Nitric oxide?

NO is effective at 10-15g dosages(split in 2-4 dosages), at 3g it's probably ineffective

I am taking tribulus and getting good results, it affects LH, by telling the body to produce more testosterone within one's own natural limits...so this could potentially work for a female...without nasty sideeffects...i take 1000mg-1500mg, 0.5-1g in morning and 0.5-1g before sleep...

IN THE FEMALE
Luteinizing Hormone causes maturation of the ova and also controls the production of androgenic hormones (e.g. Testosterone). Studies have shown that women with low Testosterone levels have a low libido. When Testosterone levels in these women were increased artificially by ingesting Testosterone, an increase in the libido was observed.
However, when Testosterone was given to these women the dosage had to be closely monitored in order to control the development of secondary male characteristics. With Tribulus Terrestris, the body produces Luteinizing hormone, which controls the production of Testosterone, which in turn is controlled by a negative feedback loop at several levels. The level of Testosterone is then not allowed to rise dramatically, thus reducing the chance of negative side effects such as the development of secondary male characteristics associated with conventional drug treatments.

ribulus (Tribulus terrestris) can help with the following:

Hormones Low Sex Drive
In clinical studies on 212 patients, 85% of patients with reduced libido demonstrated improvement after 30 days and 94% after 60 days of treatment with tribestan, an extract of Tribulus. For 36 patients with chronic prostatitis and reduced libido, 75% reported favorable effects at the end of the treatment cycle.

Low Male Testosterone Level
In patients with below-normal serum testosterone levels, physiological levels were reached after treatment with Tribulus. Amongst patients with normal initial levels, the testosterone level was not significantly changed after treatment.

Low Female Testosterone Level

Musculo-Skeletal
High Body Fat Percentage
With the use of tribulus, the benefits for the person engaged in active training and workout are muscle cell growth and increased body strength as well as faster recuperation and recovery from muscular stress. For years, tribestan, an extract of tribulus, has been used by athletes of the Soviet bloc. Tribulus has become increasingly popular with athletes because it reportedly increases strength and stamina.

Uro-Genital
Male Infertility (Low Sperm Count)
Tribestan, an extract of tribulus, administered to males with reduced sperm count of unknown cause or with sperm disturbances due to varicocele, has been shown to result in increased concentration of sperm, increased percentage of motile sperm and, in some cases, an increase in the volume of ejaculate by 1-2ml.

Andropause/Male Menopause
Administration of tribestan, an extract of Tribulus, leads to increased muscle mass during exercise by activating an enzyme associated with energy metabolism. It has also been reported to increase the body's natural testosterone and lutenizing hormone (LH) levels. With the increase of testosterone it has helped to alleviate some symptoms associated with male menopause.

Erectile Dysfunction (ED, Impotence)
In patients with primary and secondary hypogonadism, 78% reported restored and enhanced libido and 22% reported improved erections with the use of Tribulus.

I concur, I would not do the trib. Also, the probiotics with each meal is probably overkill....he already has you taking enzymes. The NO is probably a waste of money for anyone.

Oh, I should note....I am not a big fan of glutamine, especially while bulking. Maybe on a cut, but even then I only use any more what is occuring in another product.

There are two schools on glutamine, one side loves it, the others find it worthless. What I seem to be digging up is that in ORAL form it does not live up to the hype. I was in the pro glutamine camp for a long time myself.

But, you be the judge here...placebo is a powerful supplement. :)

Wait, I thought menace was recommending the trib? You are saying no?

If glutamine is a waste, i will take your word for it, I will probably use up what I have and then not waste anymore money on it.

Yeah, i was wondering if you needed so many probiotics. i think his slant is that our intestinal tract is probably in pretty poor shape and he wants to assault it with probiotics and enzymes to clean it up and getting it functioning at amximum. I wonder if it would be good to initially do the probiotics with every meal and then taper - or do you think that is a waste of time?

I think tribulus might be worth a shot, in Muscle and Fitness magazine they suggest to take between 750mg and 3000mg...
