Is it bad to take creatine before a workout? If so what harm can it cause, and if it happens to be good, what are the benifits. Just curious. Also, what exactly does creatine do for u?

the best time to take creatine is after a workout because your body uses the natural creatine in you while you work out, i use it and it helps your muscles grow and recover quickly, the only downfall is once you stop taking it you have to really work to stay where you at

I take it before and after work-out - 10g per day. The muscle you gain is yours, basically it as a cell volumizer but you do not lose anything when you cycle off.

you don't lose the muscle, but you do lose the explosiveness, and water retention size when cycling off of creatine. Since creatine needs to be absorbed into the body, I personally stayed on the same time schedule as I did when loading, but I just lowered the amount taken in.
That seemed to help my muscle cramps as well, but that's another story. good luck.

Ok..one more question and then ill shut up. Should I take my creatine on the days that I do not work out? Or only on the specific days that I work out?

KrazyJoo, the answer to that is both days, because it's absorbed and the key to it is to keep levels high while you are on cycle. Any excess will be turned to waste.
