I just bought some creatine off the internet from Nucare. It's got the creapure brand. I was reading their research discussions and came across this question.

If I doubled my dose of creatine powder, wouldn’t I double my results"?
No, if you take a mega-dose (5-10grams) of creatine 73% ends up in the toilette . Smaller, more frequent doses allow for better creatine absorption. In order to maximize results, take no more than 1.25 grams every 2½ hours.

Any truth to this? If so I'm thinking I should follow this dosage.

if you got the time, then it's probably a better idea...but I wouldn't push it that much....maybe 2 in the morning, 2 before workout, 2 after, 2 before sleep.... or soemthing like that....also you can take a larger amount directly after workout with lots of fast digesting carbs.....this is going to be one of the most naturally anabolic times for your body, so it will uptake more nutrients(including creatine, which gets depleted during workoutS)...
