Hi,
I was wondering for all of you....Which body part gained muscle quickest compared to the other body parts. My one is my triceps. Thanks |

Thats funny ...coz I think my chest takes soooooooooo much time and my arms and legs are quite quick. However my biceps are taking A lot of time.

My chest grew very quickly, as did my back. Arms came along very slowly. -------------- Homer? I know no Homer - my name is Guy Incognito |

hmm I wonder how many of you put as much effort into your chest, and arms as do your legs? And how many of you guys are doing chest and arms 2 and 3 times a week....-------------- gravity is not a law, only a obstacle |

That's a good point Andrew. It's easy to go hell for leather during workouts for 'showy' muscle groups and be a bit half-cocked during leg workouts.
For my part, I train each bodypart once a week but I do find that I train harder when doing exercises I actually like and can lift a lot of weight in (such as bench press, deadlift, shrugs and squats) than for exercises like bicep curls, triceps extensions etc that I hate doing - so my arms coming along slower than anything else is down to laziness rather than genetics! -------------- Homer? For me it has been my back. I now have the "V" shape after working out for 5 months (although not a defined as I would like).
My triceps would be a close runner up seeming to grow with each exercise. On the flip side, my biceps, chest and shoulders seem to be taking forever to grow. They are firming up nicely but don't seem to be getting larger. I have notice I have crazy stretch marks going on around my chest, armpits and shoulders so they must be doing something albeit on a much slower pace than other areas. |

Smart training nutrition and rest. Search through the message boards and learn all about gaining muscle. Everyone is different. It may be harder for a person to gain muscle in a specific area than it is for another person to do so.

I did it..........I never really feel my chest. I only feel a burn in my triceps except for the dips...the lower chest burnt a little. Whats wrong with the others? is it my form?

Bicep, for sure, it explodes during workouts too nearly every one it seems to swell a bit bigger.

probably legs and back for most people as the exercises for each recruit the most number of muscles....in curls...you'll likely progress by 5lb over months....in the same period u can get 100lb increase in squat or deadlift....

Not criticising but I though arching back was bad?

Yeh well thas wot I heard also.....but look at it as ur are keeping ur chest out rather than arching ur back. But this seriously works. There is a video from Milo Sanchez i think, u can search for it on fitbuddy, he also tells u to push your chest out. And this is an old post man :( !!!-------------- ZAK -- ZAK -- ZAK -- ZAK -- ZAK -- ZAK -- ZAK -- ZAK -- ZAK -- ZAK -- Lift big in the kitchen, if you want to lift big in the gym |

I've noticed the biggest difference is in my legs. But I really work on them the hardest.

Mostly arms/biceps. Chest is the slowest...
