Well said, and dittos.

On the otherhand: I pray that the spineless, gutless, goat-loving, flea infested cowards who can only attack non-combatants and who don't have the guts to face any military man-to-man gets severely beat to hell a thousand times worse than what these poor people had to go through today...

My thoughts, also, rev8ball.

Blair's response was really a good speech.

Now tell me this is all about oil?

It's still early on the west coast, sorry for the late condolences!

Good looking out mmaibohm

I am with REV8ball and Asimmer a 100%. Terrorism is fast becoming a global problem and it's time for some world unity to fight it. Russia, Spain, America, London, forgive any countries I am forgetting that have suffered (Besides the mid-east of course) the world is not safe from this threat, and would do well to find a way to come together and defeat it.

And soon.

Terrible, Terrible news.
It makes me wish there was some truth to the statement that we're fighting over there so we don't have to fight here. No, Asimmer, it's not JUST about oil. Oil was just the catalyst for invading Iraq. Were it not, we wouldn't be catering to that "gem" of a leader in Uzbekistan.

Sincere condolences to all of Brittania.

It is awful news. I'm a Englishman and I used to work and live in London. I used some of those tube lines at 8.30 - 9.30 in the morning (the time those savages struck) to get to work and the tube trains were always packed out at that time of the morning. You'd be literally packed into the carriages shoulder to shoulder with your felow commuters. The terrorists certainly picked the right time to attack.

Must've been hell in the underground when the bombs went off - it's a real credit to the Police, firemen and underground staff that they were able to evacuate the undergrouund so quickly and save so many lives. As with September 11th, you've really got to doff your cap to the fire brigade and police force for their courage.

I personally felt it was only a matter of time before this happened. I am very sorry for all the people who have been affected, and thanks for the solidarity everyone.

Oops...this is where my other one should have gone. I'll say it again cause it can't be said enough.

My heart goes out to you all. Be strong and vigilant...because just as the US has a 9/11 you know have a 7/7. Never forget it and good shall prevail.

Also just a side note...lets not try and turn this into politics. It's a world problem. I'm always one to take on a good political discussion...but not when it comes to this. Thanks

i knw this is a bit late, but havnt been on freetrainers recently.
Anyway, i live near London, and know many people who have been affected by this terrible tragedy. Its sick, and devastating. I mean, on thursday London was celebrating its Olympic bid victory, and there was celebration and happiness, then just the next day the mood changes completely with this horrible terrorist attack. Killing innocent people is the lowest thing u could do.
Well, Londoners have been very strong through this, and are trying to carry on with their lives, and thats just how we should act, we shouldnt let terrorists affect our lives, because thats just what they want to do. Well they've failed, and will always fail, because we're stronger and in the end we are the winners.
My condolences to everyone who has been affected, keep strong!
R.I.P all london victims.
