Hey Guys, just wondering how much water you usually put in your post workout shake.

a cup and a bit.. i usually dont measure, just go for taste. follow the directions on your container for the best.

but even with the added dextrose and malto in the postworkout shaked and the fact that it is being consumed over and hour long period.

When I comsume my PWO I dirnk 1/2 within 10minutes then the rest over a 30-45 minute period. Because of this, I fill the shaker cup all the way to the top. I don't know if I'm doing it correct but that's what I do :laugh: . If you don't add a good amount of water, it's hard to comsume it over a long period of time like you said in your last post...

I fill the blender with 12 oz of water then my add my supplements. :cool:

I think it depends on what you like...I prefer my shakes to be thicker...which is part of the reason when I add 1/2 banana to it I freeze the bananas....makes me feel fuller too...Or I go for the ones that are more like a juice like some of the isopure ones. I also have one that I add only 1/2 c milk (skim) to one scoop and shake it and put in fridge for an hour or so and you have a nice pudding. It really varies for me....If I am rehydrating I just drink water...
