I just spent the last hour analyzing my diet and it is really bugging me that I take in about 1900 calories a day (about 1500 less then the suggested by this site) but yet I eat about 10 grams of fat too much. The majority of the fat comes from milk and peanut butter (48 grams to be exact). My question is, how unhealthy are milk and peanut butter? I was told that they were healthy, so should I be concnerned about that amount of fat?
What kind of peanut butter and what kind of milk? Are you trying to cut or bulk up? I'm assuming from your calorie intake that you are cutting. Peanut butter, if it is natural, is good in moderation. I love it and usually try to eat the suggested serving size (2 TBSP) per day. I also have about a cup of skim milk on my oatmeal in the mornings. If, however, you're eating processed peanut butter and full fat milk you need to eliminate that crap. And eat more calories, at least 300-400 more if you're still lifting.
Definately cut the processed peanut butter with all the hydronated oils and stuff. The full fat milk isn't any better with it's high saturated fat content and all. All natural peanut butter is a great choice. It has natural omega 3 fatty acids. Great stuff for the body and it can actually make you lose fat.
