I have a friend that takes part in strongman competitions. Hes considerably younger than his competition (18 or 19), but still does very well with it. I suggest taking part in a few full competitions, but mostly just focus on your training until you get older. They arent all that common, and usually are pretty hard to find, so Im sure a junior comp would be even harder to find.

The best feeling in the world is the feeling you get after a tough set of squats after you step back from the power rack and throw up all over the floor.

do you have any suggestions on training. i know the events but i dont have the equipment and have no money to buy it. i guess it would be better just to train now and compeat later.

Yeah, id say train now. Basicly hit the weights to build up your maximal strength, and if you plan on getting any equipment, get a harness and line first, and then later a dragging sled. Dragging stuff is one of the best and most common ways to train for strongman, and if you get a harness and line, then you can tie it to a log or something and do drags through the woods. Build your maximal strength first though, with a good amount of gpp, and then start focusing on strongman training.
