Hi
My Goal is weight loss.
I am on the road for Business Monday - Friday.
My exercise regime is fine (30min - 45 min each day), I am just looking for some suggestion on meals.

I normally eat at 8:00am, noon and at 4pm and maybe a snack before 7pm.

I would like to change my diet from a small mini meals for bfast and lunch TO a larger bfast and lunch and a lighter dinner.

I am at a loss for ideas on what do eat for my meals. I am in a hotel room most of the time surrounded by fast food joints so I don't go out for bfast or lunch.
I can go grocery shopping at the beginning of the week but normally do not have facilities to cook.

I am tired of bars, oatmeal and salads! HELP!!

Hi there-
Here are a few things I eat that do not need cooking.

Granola with bananas, strawberries, or raisins with honey drizzled on top -- you could ad yogurt or milk too.

Tuna salad with onions, and nuts (watch the Mayo, or use light)

Any fruits

You can buy Rotisserie chicken at the grocery and make a salad, or eat it with veggies on the side

Sandwiches wheat bread with avocado, tomato, sprouts, and lowfat cheese

Fill a pita with low sodium no nitrate lunch meat

Also PB&J but make sure the PB is natural with out Hydrogenated fat

Hope this helps some :-)

Thanks so much for your help.
You got the creative juices running again.
I think I'm going to need a cooler of sorts to keep things cool or somthing.
Thanks,
Teresa Bell

I don't travel alot, but sometimes I find it a challenge to just pull something together for lunch at work. Some of the things I've found handy include:

-Tuna+Crackers(prepackaged from costco)
-flavoured tuna on whole wheat tortillas(don't need refrigeration-just open the can, I like spicy Thai flavour)
-Salads which I pick up at my local grocery store on the way to work (they even include a small packet of LF dressing and they a variety of salads; greek, some with chicken and mandarin oranges etc)
-the grocery stores are carrying a lot more fresh "single serving" healthy items, which would be better than fast food. Some even have an area where they have warm items and a salad bar (Whole Foods)

Good Luck, it must be hard eating while travelling all the time!
