what would be a good sensible diet for someone looking to lose weight. i am only looking to lose about 10lbs so it dosnt have to be the most intense of diets. but what works best. should i just eat nutritious foods and healthy foods? should i eat small but frequent meals? cut carbs? or all 3? cause people tell me all different things and i dont know which to go with. some help would be grateful

A wide variety of nutritious foods, whole foods. Figure out your average daily caloric intake and lower it by 100-200 calories and see how that goes.

Low carb isn't necessarily the way to go, go with healthy complex carbs and lots of veggies.

take a look at the grocery list for healthy eating, it is a good starting point.
