Almost all the old timers here know the value of cottage cheese. It's a great late night snack because it's very slow to digest and is released slowly overnight as you sleep. Yes use cottage cheese.

Hey Adam... first off, fill out your profile...

Secondly, if you can't stand the stuff do a fit buddy search... lots of suggestions on this very topic.

add in some ground flaxseed.. it will slow the absorption even more across the night, and makes it taste kind of nutty.

they have flavored cottage cheese spreads. although that would be higher in carbohydrates.

fresh fruits like pineapples, peaches, oranges etc are always really good to add into cottage cheese.

These are all good responses, but if you just can't stand cottage cheese, have some Micellar Casein before bedtime. It is also very slow to digest. Yes, cottage cheese does have many other nutrients and is very good for you, but you can find ways around it if you just can't eat it.
