Hi my name is kelly i am from the uk, i am 27 and i need some exercise to do at home or at the gym if need be. I have just 9 weeks ago had my second baby i went from 7 and half stone up to eleven stone. All on my belly and boobs!! I am now back down to 8 stone 13 and i am quite happy that i have gained some weight as i have always hated being skinny. However my stomach is disgusting but i know that if i exercise i will lose weight everywhere else?? I want an excercise plan that will give me a flat stomach, chunkier thighs and shapelier legs, oh and a nice shapely bum!! everywher else just needs toning. I am very petite framed and my height is 5ft2, weight 8 stone 13. Please help. i feel so ugly and unattractive, im only 27!!! Thank you for your help. xx

kelly...Welcome to FT!
There is no way to spot reduce or tone one area of the body. You really gotta burn the fat all over to lose it anywhere effectively. Get you a workout program from here...track your diet for a few days or even a week (either here or www.fitday.com). Once you get the bodyfat %age down then you can focus on certain areas to build more muscles then other (i.e. gluteus maximus, thighs, calfs, etc).
I'm in the US so I don't know what a stone is...other then what my brother used to throw at me when we were kids...and they seemed really really heavy when they hit me in the head.

Hi thanks for your reply i think there is 14 pound in a stone so i am approx 125 pound i think!! I was 98 1b before i got pregnant and went up to about 154 1b at the end of my pregnancy. I have been told you cant spot reduce but i guess i hoped someone would say i could!! So i guess iwill just wait for my workout program and get my bodyfat down and do what you suggest. Hi Kelly,
I just had a baby early this year too. I followed the routine in this book called, "Basic Bible of Body Sculpting for Women." It worked very well in getting me back to normal. The best part was about four months after the baby I went swimming at a BBQ. One of my friends later told me there was discussion in the kitchen as to why my stomach looked better than one of the other women who just had lipo! Unfortunately, I'm not satisfied with my normal, so I'm still working to get better. Good luck!
