It would be fine to eat a protein bar for lunch as a meal replacement, but it would be much better to get whole sources of food instead. Try to limit your intake of these bars as a whole meal source. They are not bad (protein bars) but of course whole food is the way to go really. Oh, and about that powerbar protein bar that the link leads us to, those protein bars aren't really the greatest choice. Yes, they have some good protein, but they are packed with sugar. That's something you have to watch out for in protein bars. That, and hydronated oils and such. Some have a very high fat content as well as a high saturated fat content.

Thanks for the input DX, but I understand it has a lot of fat but is this good for cutting? Or is this just to fatty for cutting? And why do we need so much protein and what is all the anabolic stuff about.

Thanks
