DUMB question. I am sure I already know this answer but here goes.
When I am doing my sets...should I finish all sets of one thing? For instance if I am doing bis and tris. Bis first because they are the bigger muscle right? So I would do maybe preacher curls 3x8 resting 60 seconds between the sets and then concentration dumbell curls 3x8 resting 60 seconds between the sets and then move to the tri excersises. Or should I do 1 set of the preacher curls rest 60 seconds and then a set of concentration dumbell curls rest and then back to the preacher curls until the three sets or done. Or even do one set of a bi excersises, then one set of tri excersise, and back to the bi excersise until all 3 sets are done. Am I making since? I think the first way is the way it is supposed to be done but I am a newbie and thought I would ask. Sorry for the dumb question guys.

I don't believe there is really a 'correct' way for order... maybe the larger muscle groups first in a set.
What you have described is supersetting. Do a set of curls, then move to dips for the triceps. That is an example of supersetting. Doing bis, tris and forearms for instance would be trisetting.
Check with fitbuddy on this... I believe this came up not so long ago...

First off tris are a bigger muscle than bis...so if you wanted to train the bigger muscle...you'd start with triceps....
however there's no one correct method of training....I think as a beginner you may be better of simplifying everything and doing 1 exercise for 3-4 sets, then 2nd exercise, and if you chose a 3rd exercise.....You can superset or use prexhaustion techniques but there's no point of doing this because as a beginner you'll see good gains from the simplest/straight forward training methods.....
If you really like certain type of training then by all means continue...supersetting triceps and biceps works very well....both are fairly small muscle groups and help give a nice stretch to the opposite muscle group...allowing you to perhaps a lift a little more....

I find that if I were to superset with the tris and bis that I wouldn't be able to get that pump that I strive for. The rest period in between the time I did bis till the time I do them again for instance would be too long. (Say I do bis, then immidiately to tris. I wouldn't be able to immidiately go back to bis because I would need to rest a little. But I rested the bis while I was doing tris so then the bis would get extra rest. Then the pump would be lost) I don't know, this is just the way I see it though. Menace and Timday are right though. There really is no correct method of arranging the sets.

Thanks guys. I like the idea of supersetting but I think Menace is right. If I just stick with something and stay consistant I should see some gains. Once I start seeing gains, I will start supersetting the areas that are lacking. You guys are always a wealth of information. Thanks again!
