cardio or weights?

hi, i wanted to know if in order to see muscular results i have to also do some cardio. Does cardio make you lose weight? What's the best exercise routine to follow to target thickening my calves? I'd like to know which exercises target the calves directly. And also what's the best way to target the abdominal area. I need to simply lose the fat and gain some muscle. Does anyone have any reccomendations?

If you want that muscular physique, you must concentrate on resistance training as a priority. With weights you can actually sculpt your body to look lean and hard.

Cardio alone will simply(if your diet is good) make you a smaller version of what you currently are.

To lose weight around your abdominal region you can get lipo. Or you can weight lift, eat a healthy diet, and get plenty of rest, and lose weight all over your body.
also, any exercise with the word "calve" in it will train your calves. examples: calf raise, donkey calf raise, one legged calf raise, seated calf raise.
Also, the cardio thing has been discussed over and over and over. Read the posts that are already there instead of trying to start it anew.
