I have been lifting weights and doing cardio for quit sometime now. I lift weghts 4 times a week, I have been following ft's 12 week mass program I have also done 3 other 8 week programs. I cant say I'm not stronger or that my muscles are not much more harder to the touch, but I can't seem to loose the extra weight. Short story I weighed 180 lbs broke hip shot up to about 343lbs and I am now back down to 235 lbs. and have stalled there since a can remember. I do cardio 6 times a week with 4 of them being hiit of at least 35 mins. 2 mins max 2 mins rest for 35 min the other two days I do an hour of cardio 65-75%. I use an eliptical for cardio. I know the problem is with my diet, but I'm pretty ignorant :( when it comes to this subject. I'm 5'10" 235lbs. and 38 years old. This here is pretty much what I eat every day:

Breakfast
Slim Fast bar 120 cal.
Nature Valley Bar 140 cal.

Snack:
Banana 100 cal.
Apple 100 cal.

Lunch:
4 Slices low carb bread 160 cal.
4 oz. Turkey with 2
slices of cheese 260 cal.

Snack:
2 more pieces of fruit 200 cal.

Dinner:
Varies 700-1000 cal.

Total Calories 1780-2080

Any help is greatly appreciated specific diets are even more appreciated.

Just a guess but I'd say you aren't too ignorant when it comes to your diet and you know where you need to work. I don't quite understand though - you say you're trying to lose weight but you're on a mass routine. You can do both if you're really dedicated and have an iron will but it isn't easy. It's just a recommendation but I'd lose all the breakfast bars, the bananas. the 4 slices of bread for lunch. You need to look at the fat content on some of that stuff and not just calories. I haven't ever pushed supplements before but you might want to check out bb1fit's post in the supplement section about cAMP. I used it for about a month on a mini cut and I was impressed.

Try the FreeTrainers diet. It's pretty basic, but it gives you a great place to start, will teach you more about your diet and formulating your own, and you can print it out and take it with you.
